At times ,within us all there is a desire to hide.During those times we fear.We dislike this part of us,but our God must have hadpurpose for this in mind when He gave it.It is an overcomer pause,for the lack of a better phrase.We seek our healing from God,but it is slow in coming,so we suffer with a self-inflicting process.To receive any healing we either give up our fear,if only to one person,or we continue on in misery.This is another play on stepping out on Faith.Self is a powerful enemy in the walk for healingwhatever kind of healing it may be.We hold tight to that abuse,that pain,garnered years ago,out of self-misery.As strange as it may seem,we enjoy holding onto ourSuffering,for there is comfort in self-misery!It takes more effort,more courage, more love to show ourselves to others,our real self.For here’s the rub, if we open ourselves to receive healing,and actually get it,what then?We find ourselves on a path of healing,then we have to facea new unknown fear.We exposed ourselves,became known,got rid of the fears of thepast which caused such great suffering and pain.God brought the healing to us!Just the acceptance of new healing by our faith,opens the door to a whole new list ofaccountabilities; perhaps even “better choices”.Now healed, we step out in overcoming,but;we now contend with Spiritual Growth,something many of usnever thought of.Self is the biggest obstacle we do battle with in our lifetimes,Do you think more of Jesus within you is worth it?"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait,I say, on the Lord."Psalm 27:14"Beloved, think it not strange concerningthe fiery trial which is to try you,as thoughsome strange thing happened unto you:But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakersof Christ’s sufferings; that when his gloryshall be revealed, ye may be glad alsowith exceeding joy."1st.Peter 4:12,13"I can do all things through Christwhich strengtheneth me." “Why Me” Lord,Why must I go through this"?( Like the little child who touches something hot,after being warned,we don’t seem to truly learn anything except through Pain and suffering!)"When will you give me a helpmate ,Lord, don’t you know my biological clock is ticking"?(Some of us can be satisfied with a spiritual bride;you Lord!)"I was saved at age 3yrs,been in church all my life,Just came to know my lord last year."(Real Salvation is in the personal relationship with Him.)“Lord,why won’t you bring salvation to my child”?(Are they spiritually ready for Salvation,after all you knowtheir Salvation is theirs, not yours?"I want to grow in you Lord,but I can never find the time,what with the kids,housework,and my husbands needs".Your love, means more to me than anything Lord,"but"......"We were really in love when we first met,Lord,no matter what I do or how hard I pray, he just won’t accept your salvation?""Now, you understand what being unequallyyoked is, my child"!"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written, for thy sake we are killedall the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are morethan conquerors through him that loved us."Romans 8:35-37In His love, lampwicke xxx

Our jobs in life,being parents,friends,lovers of others,husbands,wives,children, all seem built upon Gods love.He is where the concept originated from,genuine love?We see it at times,a glimmer here,a little spark there.Many times in a persons lifetime there must have beensome example of His love?I believe it is His love which propels us always onward.We do have the obligation to ask, seek, and knock?We have been raised without knowing it,in steep selfishness while in this world?When was the last time you examined yourself,to show yourself approved?There is no greater love, than we come to know our God personally.“Knowing God”,is one of the keys of the kingdom.When you know Him,you can open the doors tomany of His ways?God is no respecter of persons,the rain falls on the just and the unjust alike?This lifetime is nothing but a passing through time,in which He expects us to Know Himfor the heaven to be.Many have wasted this time,many have not?If you have salvation,you may also have a do-over in the kingdom?Did you know,that just by living for your God,you stepped out in obedience to Him?"Beloved, let us love one another: forlove is of God; and every one that loveth isborn of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God;for God is love."1st.John 4:7,8"Beloved,If God so loved us, we oughtalso to love one another.No man hath seen God at any time.Ifwe love one another, God dwelleth in us,and his love is perfected in us."1st,John 4:11,12In His love, lampwicke xxx

My God knows the hearts of His children.He showers with His blessings as He does His chastisement.He permits even tho we are many times wrong,just to see if we get the lesson in the end?He brings the joys as well as the tears,for in His love all are healed.My God stirs the hearts of those in wellness,to minister to others,from Jesus within.He scratches the surface of our spirits,that we may taste the feelings of a Son of God.His grace is sufficient for us,He set us free,and He that is free,is free indeed.My God is a consuming fire,for He is able and available24/7,for the seeking?My God provides,Jehovah Jireh!for the hungry in spirit,the broken in heartbe there for Him?“Know Him” ,"Love Him"."But without faith it is impossible to please him:for he that cometh to God must believe thathe is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."Hebrews 11:6"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;but of power,and of love, and of a sound mind."11Timothy1:7"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall begiven you; seek, and ye shall find;knock, and it shall be opened unto you."Luke 11:9With His grace and love, lampwicke xxx

My TestimonyI was saved at age thirty-one,received the Baptism of the Holy Ghostone year later.I asked God to give me the genuine baptisim.I didn’t want that which looked improper to me,the coaxing,long drawnoutprompting with gestures kind.I entered the Pentacostal churchIn 1974,prayed to God for the “genuine” Baptisim,He told me to “wait”.One word which I have become very familiar with over the years.I received the Baptisim of the Holy Ghost,in a small Pentacostal church,In a blink as you go thru town, of London,California.Situated in the middleof the cotton fields,just south of Fresno,California.I spoke in Tongues forthree hours,with no one prompting me,so I know it’s “genuine”.Since itis “Genuine” to me,I neither promote,nor deny the use of Tongues in abelievers Spiritual life.All I know is that I am edified within me,and I understand in my spirit,that I speak directly to God through the Holy Spirit,in my heart.I have spent these last twenty-eight years,walkingwith my God,through many trials,and troubles.In all of them I waited,tosee "All things work together for good to them who love the Lord,and for those called according to His purpose".I know that God teaches,in themidst of pain and suffering.I could do no less than lay down my lifefor Christ,should He ask. I do not just speak the Word,I live it.I have a good sense of humour,as I believe my God does also.I have worked manytimes in concert with the Holy Spirit.I believe Love to be the very natureof God,and that Obedience is one of His most important precepts.I move by my Faith,which God gives a same measure to everyone.It is what you Choose to do with that measure of Faith is what creates a hunger for God. My wife went home to the Lord,on may 24,1994,one day before her forty-fifth birthday.She suffered extreme severe pain due to Bone MarrowCancer,and her passing brought the blessing,of “all things work together”In that the good that came through her passing,brought her release,from her pain,and she will never suffer again.My son a week before she passed away,was admitted to the same hospital with Juvenile Diabetes, and God saw to the needs of both of those I loved that day.My son age 24 has found his personalrelationship,with his God,but not before Doing his drugs,and experiencingvictory in Jesus by renewing his faith in his God.My daughter,21yrs,I being drawn back to Jesus,but it is slowergoing for her,as she has issues with God in relation to her mothers death.I am more than a father to them now,I am their Spiritual mentor,and myname is “lampwicke” because this is me in the lastyears of my life.I have worn,many labels for God,I have been around long enough too.What I value the most for all my life pursuits,is destroying theselfishness within me: which is taught everyone from infancy, by being in this world, until the acceptance of Jesus Christas a personal savior. Then doing my part,in asking,seeking,and knocking throughout my lifetime,and striving forChristlikeness until He takes me in the translation of the church,or I take a dirt nap and beat you all there.
